A Milan-based learning space for leaders

About Psikoaktifpartner Finance Academy

Psikoaktifpartner Finance Academy was created for leaders who carry responsibility for results, but do not want to spend their days buried in spreadsheets. The academy sits between the finance team and the boardroom — translating numbers into grounded decisions.

The focus is not on teaching exotic instruments or complex formulas. It is on helping founders, owners and executives see the financial reality of their business clearly, months before it appears in the bank account.

Why the academy exists

Too many strategic conversations circle around intuition and anecdotes, even when good financial data is available. The academy exists to bridge that gap: to make financial analysis part of everyday leadership thinking, not a separate specialist language.

Milan office environment where leaders discuss financial strategy

A response to recurring conversations with leaders

The academy grew out of years of work with entrepreneurs and senior managers across Italy and Europe. The pattern was always similar: smart people running complex organisations, feeling that finance was a “black box” they had to trust but could not fully read.

Traditional finance courses either start too technical or stay too abstract. Leadership seminars speak about vision and strategy, but rarely equip decision-makers with a practical way to follow the financial consequences of those choices.

Psikoaktifpartner Finance Academy was designed to sit in the middle: concrete, visual, anchored in actual business dynamics — and respectful of the limited time and attention of senior leaders.

Leadership focus

Built for those who own decisions and carry responsibility for teams, not for specialists preparing reports.

Real-world dynamics

Case material and exercises reflect actual business patterns: pricing, volatility, clients, suppliers, financing.

Respect for time

Structured so leaders can participate seriously while running companies, not stepping away from them.

Rooted in Milan, connected to Europe

The academy is based in Milan, at the intersection of Italian entrepreneurship, European markets and international capital. Participants join from across Italy and neighbouring countries, bringing a wide range of sectors and company sizes to the conversation.

While the sessions are delivered online, the content and examples are deliberately grounded in local realities: supply chains, taxation, labour markets and financing patterns that leaders actually work with.

Leaders working together in a financial lab session

How the academy works with leaders

The academy is not a one-way broadcast. It is a structured lab environment where leaders bring their own questions, see them reflected in simplified cases and then translate insights back into their company context.

  • Visual, step-by-step explanations of P&L, cash flow and balance sheet logic, without jargon.
  • Worksheets that use simplified versions of your own numbers, not generic textbook examples.
  • Space to explore real dilemmas: pricing, investment, hiring, financing, ownership and more.
  • A cohort structure that allows you to learn from peers facing similar complexity in different industries.

Education, not advice

The academy does not replace your accountants, controllers, lawyers or advisors. It strengthens your ability to work with them — to ask sharper questions, understand trade-offs and take responsibility for choices that only leadership can make.

All content is educational in nature and should be complemented by conversations with professionals who know your full situation.

Who the academy is for

  • Founders and owners who want a clearer financial picture before scaling further or taking on financing.
  • CEOs and general managers who need to discuss numbers confidently with boards, banks and investors.
  • Senior leaders with P&L responsibility who never had a formal finance education, but now manage complex operations.
  • Leadership teams who want a shared financial language around risk, growth and resilience.

Who the academy is not for

  • Individuals looking for trading tips, quick-return schemes or speculative investment strategies.
  • Those who want someone else to make financial decisions for them rather than strengthen their own judgment.
  • People expecting a purely theoretical course with minimal connection to real business decisions.
  • Roles without decision authority, where new insights cannot reasonably be turned into action.

Share a short note about your context

Every leadership journey is different. Before you decide whether to join a cohort, it can be useful to share a concise description of your role, your company and the financial questions that currently matter most.

  • We respond personally — there is no automated selection funnel.
  • You will not be added to a general mailing list without consent.
  • If the academy is not the right fit, we will say so plainly and, where possible, suggest alternatives.
